Afghanistan’s transmission line project restarted

Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has recommenced the construction of the Ghazni-Kandahar 220 kV Transmission Line Project, with an investment worth $2.2 M.

Afghanistan: Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) has recommenced the construction of the Ghazni-Kandahar 220 kV Transmission Line Project, with an investment worth $2.2 M.

DABS will collaborate with Sayqa Energy Supply and Construction Company on building 120 towers in five lots in 124 working days.

The project will link the electricity system of the southeast and the northeast and will feature work in the Kandahar, Zabul and Ghazni provinces.

The project will possess a capacity of 300 MW and will bring electricity to citizens in the aforementioned provinces. The project will also benefit sectors such as education, medicine, industries and agriculture.
