Coveme invests $76.9 M in sustainability

Italy, San Lazzaro di Savena: Italian company Coveme has disclosed that it has made investments of $76.9 M (€70 M) in the last ten years.

Italy, San Lazzaro di Savena: Italian company Coveme has disclosed that it has made investments of $76.9 M (€70 M) in the last ten years.

The company lists new markets on the horizon, in addition to Sweden, Germany, the USA, Spain and England. In addition to the investments in two production sites in Italy and China, Coveme has also developed three R&D laboratories in Italy, China, and Germany, and opened a new branch in the USA this year in April, as well as 14 production lines. The latest one, says the company in a press release, Line 11, was inaugurated in Gorizia a couple of days ago, with a total headcount of 300 employees.

“Today, to stay on the market and remain competitive, you must invest,” explains Amedeo Maccolini, CEO of the company. “We need to employ resources in research and the development of innovative, high-quality, efficient, and sustainable products while expanding our commercial network and seeking new markets. That’s why we opened our new branch in the United States.”

The new line at the Gorizia plant was announced in this context. It is dedicated to various treatments on polyester film that will enable customers to use it in different industries, from automotive to printed electronics.
