One of those achievements is the development of cast-resin transformers (CRT category: dry-type transformers).
In comparison to traditional transformer models, the GEAFOL and CARECO cast-resin transformers operate with high-voltage windings fully cast under vacuum in epoxy-resin instead of mineral oil or other fluid-insulating materials, which makes a tank with insulating and cooling liquid unnecessary.
