Netherlands, Arnhem: TenneT signed agreements with Allseas and Heerema for 14 HVDC converter stations.
Grid operator TenneT has signed framework agreements with Allseas and Heerema Marine Contractors covering transport and installation of up to 14 HVDC converter stations in the North Sea.
The agreement encompasses at least 28 slots until 2031, 14 for the transport and installation of jackets, and 14 for topsides.
The value of the contract was not disclosed. The deal follows a $13 B (£11 B) joint contract from March 2023 to Hitachi Energy and Petrofac for six HVDC stations.
