Taoyuan, Taiwan: LTC Group announced a new production plant in Taoyuan, Taiwan at CWIEME Berlin.
On 23 May 2023, LTC Group, world market leader in the production of transformer magnetic cores, announced the acquisition of a new area of approx. 17,000 m2 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
The production plant at the site will have a processing capacity of over 15,000 tons/year. This will serve to increase manufacturing capacity in order to cover the expanding APAC (Asia-Pacific) market demands. Also, lead time to supply all customers in the region will be drastically reduced. The production plant will provide assembled cores to the local market, with maximum cutting width of 1,250 mm at 45 degrees.
The announcement of LTC Asia Pacific was made at one of the most important electrical engineering trade fairs, CWIEME Berlin, where LTC Group celebrated its new goal with all of its international partners.
