Dr Behrooz Pahlavanpour is among the most renowned experts in the field of transformer-insulating liquids. He was responsible for maintaining IEC standards on insulating oils for many years. He was awarded for his contribution to the development of a large number of IEC standards and for his outstanding contribution to the state-of-the-art revision of IEC 60422. He published over 380 articles in international journals, some of them in Transformers Magazine.
Dr Pahlavanpour currently works as a Dielectric Fluid Consultant for Ergon International, where he is responsible for educational seminars for utility engineers and, of course, for the preparation of international standards.
