Abuja to experience blackout as TCN maintains substation
The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has announced that there will be a 9-hour blackout in some districts on Saturday, October 28.

Nigeria, Abuja: The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC) has announced that there will be a 9-hour blackout in some districts on Saturday, October 28.
In a statement on Wednesday, it stated that this is due to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) carrying out a planned maintenance exercise on the 132/33kV Kukwaba Transmission Station from 9am to 6pm.
Daily Trust reports that the districts to be affected are all in Abuja Municipal Council (AMAC). The distribution company stated that the blackout would affect it customers in Games Village; Kabusa Gardens, Galadimawa Village, Human Right Radio, Sunny Vale, Suncity, Voice of Nigeria.
