EIS, a specialty value-added distributor of electrical process materials and components in North America, has announced the successful acquisition of Power Grid Supply (PGS). PGS is a supplier of high-quality transformer parts and components for the production, repair, and remanufacturing of transformers. This move marks a milestone in EIS’s growth and underscores the company’s commitment to providing comprehensive OEM and aftermarket solutions to customers in the transformer and utility markets.
The acquisition of PGS reinforces EIS’s position as a provider to the transformer industry. PGS’s expertise and reputation for excellence in the transformer aftermarket segment enhances EIS’s portfolio of solutions supporting grid infrastructure and modernization.
