Serbia, Novi Sad: According to the local government, Serbia-registered WV International Ventures plans to build a 900 MW wind farm in the northern municipality of Novi Sad.

WV International Ventures is a wholly-owned unit of Dutch company WV International. The Samos wind farm will span a total of 174 km2 and will be built in two stages, the Vojvodina local government announced on Monday.

Wind turbines with a total capacity of 420 MW will be installed during the first stage of the construction, while another 468 MW should be added during the second stage. According to the Serbian business registry, WV International Ventures was established in May 2021.
