Linxon commissions Dubai Abraj substation
Linxon has designed, supplied, constructed, installed and commissioned the 132 kV Abraj substation.

UAE, Dubai: Linxon has designed, supplied, constructed, installed and commissioned the 132 kV Abraj substation.
The project for the 8-bay 132 kV gas insulated Abraj substation (GIS) was awarded by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). The substation will be located in the central professional district of Business Bay, and is essential to further expansion, with the end-user being North 25 Project management Group (part of the DH Real Estate LLC group).
The complete offering included power transformers, a reactor, 11 kV air-insulated switchgears, earthing/auxiliary transformers, capacitor banks, control and protection and CCTV systems, civil works, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting and small power systems. Linxon is active within the UAE via Linxon Gulf based in Dubai, and the company already energized the Sanad 132/11 kV substation this month in the Jebel Ali Port area.
