Končar’s 39 transformers for Netz Burgenland
The Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer said that the delivery is part of a four-year agreement signed in 2022.

Croatia, Zagreb: Končar announced on Thursday that its Končar – Instrument Transformers unit has delivered 39 voltage and combined instrument transformers with a voltage level of 123 kV to Austria’s Netz Burgenland.
Netz Burgenland is the distribution network subsidiary of energy company Burgenland Energie Group, which operates the largest network of wind farms across the country. Netz Burgenland’s network capacities with the Austrian transmission system operator APG have more than tripled in the last eight years, but further network expansion is needed to accommodate and distribute the rapidly growing share of power generated from renewable sources.
