Croatia, Zagreb: After work on conceptual, main, and implementation projects and obtained permits, the engineers of Dalekovod-Projekt d.o.o. are currently performing design supervision over the laying of 110 kV cable lines that connect the islands of Krk and Cres, and Cres and Lošinj.

Between Mali Bok on Krk and Merag on Cres, a 7.45 km cable is being laid, of which 7.4 km is under the sea, at depths of more than 70 m. Between Cres and Lošinj, specifically the cable stations Osor 1 and Osor 2, the length of the cable line is approximately 1 km, half of which is under the sea. The new submarine cables will replace the old oil cables, thus eliminating the risks of sea pollution and increasing the reliability of the Kvarner Islands’ power supply.
