Končar delivers substation equipment to Iraq

Croatia, Zagreb: Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Končar Elektroindustrija has announced that its unit Končar – Switchgear delivered the equipment for a 33/11 kV substation with a 31.5 MVA capacity in Iraq earlier this year. This delivery was carried out in cooperation with Mawj Al-Taif General Trading, a Baghdad-based company, marking the return of the manufacturer to the Iraqi market.
Air insulated switchgear was delivered to Iraq and will be incorporated in the country’s power grid. Končar did not disclose the value of the deal.
