Nigeria, Abuja: The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announced the commissioning of a new 100 MVA power transformer at its 132/33kV Dan Agundi Transmission Substation after a fire incident which occurred on Sunday. The commissioning of the new transformer was announced on the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, and it is expected to add another 80 MW to the substation’s capacity. This means that Kano DisCo can now distribute more bulk power to its customers in Nasara GRA, Aminu Kano Airport, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Bokabo Barracks, Air Force Base, and many others.
