Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek: The National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan JSC (NENK) has reported that the new Ak-Kula high-voltage substation will be built in Bishkek, located near the new hippodrome. According to the plan of capital construction and reconstruction for 2024, NENK’s Bishkek Enterprise of Electric Networks branch aims to begin construction of the new 110/10 kV substation in April.

A land plot has already been allocated, and preparatory works are underway. These include the development of engineering and technical conditions, geological surveys. Construction will be financed by NENK’s own funds.
