Ukraine, Kyiv: According to Ukraine’s national power company Ukrenergo, equipment has been damaged at a high-voltage substation by the explosion of a UAV. The company said that emergency and restoration work was ongoing, with specialists restoring the operation of some equipment at facilities in the country’s western regions and increasing the reliability of power supply to consumers. Since March 22, repair crews have restored and replaced equipment at substations, making it possible to transmit 2000 MW of power.

As of April 1, electricity supply restrictions were in place for consumers in the Kharkiv region, while restrictions on consumption by industrial enterprises were introduced in the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Since March 22, missile and drone strikes damaged thermal power plants, the Dnipro Hydroelectric Power Plant and high-voltage substations.
