Taiwan: The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project announced the official start of offshore construction on 11 April. The wind farm will have a capacity of 1044 MW. The first campaigns will involve the installation of foundation pin piles, after which the laying of subsea cables and the installation of offshore substations will follow. Wind turbine installation should begin in 2025.

According to a social media update by the vessel owner, CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE), the vessel Green Jade has installed pin piles at five locations so far. Green Jade will later install 73 wind turbine foundations and two foundations for the project’s offshore substations and will be deployed on the project until 2026.
