RWE starts onshore work for Thor Wind Farm
The wind farm will have a capacity of 1 GW once finished.

Denmark: RWE is progressing with the construction of its Thor Offshore Wind Farm, with onshore cable works scheduled from mid-April to late October. This includes horizontal directional drilling under dunes and fields to protect the environment, while landfall works are underway to prepare for cable pull-in next year.
The onshore cables will be laid and buried in three phases, with connection to the substation planned from June to October. Subsea cables, which should be installed in 2025, will connect the offshore substation to the onshore cables. The wind farm will have a capacity of 1000 MW once finished. It will be located about 22 kilometres off Thorsminde in the Danish North Sea and should be operational by the end of 2027.
