Dalekovod wins power line deal in Norway

Croatia, Zagreb/Oslo, Norway: Croatian power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod said it has won an order worth more than €14 million ($14.9 million) from Norwegian national electricity transmission company Statnett to build a new 420 kV transmission line. The project includes the construction of the VikSogndal transmission line section, near the 420 kV Aurland-Sogndal transmission line currently under construction.

Also included in the deal is the dismantling the existing 300 kV transmission line and building a new 420 kV transmission line which will be 12.5 kilometers long. Construction should start in summer 2024 and end in mid-2028.
