Croatia, Zagreb: Croatian electrical concern Končar announced that its unit, power transformer manufacturer Končar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformatori (D&ST) is set to deliver seven transformers with nominal capacities of 20, 50, and 100 MVA to a Dutch client this year. In its newsletter, the company announced that the first power transformer was successfully tested and approved in mid-March.

The delivery is planned in April. The total value of the deal and the exact identity of the buyer weren’t disclosed, but it is known that the contract was signed with a regional network operator in charge of the installation, maintenance, and operation of the country’s gas and electrical transmission and distribution networks. The transformers will be delivered under a four-year framework agreement starting March 2023.
