Mexico, Mexico City: Mexico’s state utility CFE has awarded a $12.5 million transmission and transformer contract for a project in Baja California state to a consortium made up of five local firms.
Mexico, Mexico City: The Colombian Medellin Electricity company (Edemsa) is part of the consortium which has been awarded a $140 million power contract by the Federal Electricity Commission of Mexico (CFE) to implement a project which will reduce electricity distribution losses in the State of Mexico.
Mexico: In the next 15 years the country will receive investments of 2 billion pesos ($152 million) in the electricity sector, which will increase by 106% the installed capacity to 66,000 additional MW, said Undersecretary of the Energy and Electricity Secretariat, César Hernández Ochoa.
