ABB announces new partnerships for T&D projects

Switzerland, Zurich: As ABB decides to keep its Power Grid business, within its Next Level strategy revealed on 4 October the company has also announced two new strategic partnerships for the execution of transmission and distribution projects.

India, Tamil Nadu: Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract by Essar Projects India Limited worth close to €11 million to supply transformers package for Neyveli New Thermal Power Project (NNTPP) located in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
