Chinese 128-tonne transformer arrives to Ararat

Australia, Victoria: The biggest single component of the Ararat wind farm, the USD 300 million (AUD 400 million) project in south-west Victoria, arrived to Australia from Shanghai and was travelling through Elmhurst last week on its way to the site.

OMICRON monitoring solution selected for Belgian cable project

Elia, the power transmission system operator in Belgium, has selected a permanent on-line partial discharge (PD) cable monitoring system from OMICRON for its Stevin project. This project is a major undertaking by Elia to reinforce the high-voltage (HV) power grid in Belgium’s Flanders region. Installation of the OMICRON cable monitoring system will start in the spring of 2016.

Eaton to supply power equipment for $1B MGM National Harbor project

SEPTA investing over $570 million in upgrade projects
