General Overview
This Dallas, Texas based position requires technical knowledge in the operation, testing and
maintenance of electrical assets such as transformer, relays, circuit breakers, cables, batteries
etc. Interact and liaise with Field Sales Reps, Applications Engineers, and engineering to
facilitate the most effective utilization and monitoring of the NAFTA equipment inventory.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to sales team and clients on verification and checkout of Megger
test equipment.
Ability to operate and use all Megger instruments available in the NAFTA asset pool
related to substation, cable, and relay applications.
Ability to meet and deliver the technical product requests put forward by sales team
and clients.
Develop workflow process, functional procedures, and checklists documents for
Megger instruments.
Prepare application notes and how to guides to educate sales team and Megger
clients in operation and use of Megger equipment.
Perform firmware and software updates for various Megger products available in the
NAFTA equipment inventory.
Maintain, track, and monitor the NAFTA demonstration equipment assets distributed
amongst different sales territories.
Work in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Follow all ISO safety guidelines, rules, and procedures
Follows Meggers Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies

Qualifications

Electronics Engineering Technology Degree (EET) or Bachelors degree in Electrical
Engineering (BSEE)

2-3 Years Relevant Experience Preferred.

Knowledge of power system operation and circuit analysis.
Familiarity with the operation and testing of transformer, relays, cables, circuit
breakers and batteries.
Must have ability to learn technical products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and asset management skills and ability to handle different
databases and procedures
Must be detail oriented, multi-tasking, well organized, a team player and handle large
volume of tasks.
Position requires strong computer skills including knowledge of various Windows
platforms, software installation, communication protocols and Microsoft Office.
