Cambodia, Phnom Penh: Pestech International Berhad, a Malaysian electric power technology company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the State Grid Corporation of China to jointly launch a power transformer factory in Cambodia and develop infrastructure projects throughout the country.

USA, Ohio: American Electric Power (AEP) and seven other energy companies are planning to launch a limited liability company to provide critical equipment including power transformers to transmission-owning entities in the U.S. to improve responses to major events affecting the electric transmission grid.
