The role reports to the Vice President- Channel & Industry Manager and located in Greenville, South Carolina. As a Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible to help drive revenue growth for all ABB Motors and Mechanical products through Motion Industries. This person will focus on driving conversions, standardizations and agreement compliance at the channel partner’s “national” accounts. Success will be measured through sales, share and cogs growth.

Your Responsibilities

Team with the Motion Strategic Account Manager’s (SAMs) to help engage and grow Motion’s business across the organization in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Identify share growth opportunities within the defined channel partner’s “national” accounts.
Focus with ABB Motors and Mechanical outside sales at the “national” account level to create success.
Success is measured in share growth and corporate account conversions.
Team with Motion Corporate Accounts at End User contracted accounts to drive specifications, conversions and standardizations to ABB Baldor and Dodge branded products.
Measure and drive compliance to existing agreements to ensure the targets and goals of agreements and price support are being met.
Take steps to improve or resolve agreements falling short of the targets.
Facilitate and lead Baldor and Dodge to provide significant Documented Savings to Motion.
Ensure Motion receives these and there is value and credit earned with Motion and end customers.
Document solutions and publish within channel partner’s organization. Example is Motion’s “Share the Save”.
Work well within ABB for the brands of Dodge and Baldor to effectively communicate opportunities and structure appropriate programs and agreements.
Work effectively with ABB Motors and Mechanical sales teams.
Mentor and coach local sales on opportunities and duplication of share conversion successes.
Build trusting relationships with Motion Corporate Accounts, Motion Sr Management and Field Management.

Your background

High School/GED AND 11 years of Motor or Power Transformer (PT) industry outside sales experience OR
Associates Degree AND 9 years of Motor or PT industry outside sales experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of Motor or PT industry outside sales experience.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Strong sales and customer development skills.
Knowledgeable of Baldor Reliance and Baldor Dodge products.
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, MS Word and Excel) and Baldor BUS (Baldor Unified System).
5+ years’ experience in Motor or PT (Power Transformer) industry outside sales.
Solid understanding of Baldor and Dodge sales cultures and strategy.
Those who meet all other requirements with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered.
Positions requires up to 50% travel.
