Placement of UHF-sensors in power transformers – Stefan Tenbohlen via Partial discharge course

This is the sixth e-lesson in the entire course, and also the second one to be conducted and hosted at the Master’s level.

Event Details:

Stefan Tenbohlen received his diploma and PhD in Engineering from the Technical University of Aachen, Germany, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. From 2002 – to 2004, he was the Head of the Electrical and Mechanical Design Department. In 2004, he was appointed Professor and Head of the Institute of Power Transmission and High Voltage Technology of the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

As of 2021, he is teaching at the Transformers Academy, where his course is Partial discharge measurement for power transformers.

This is the sixth e-lesson in the entire course, and also the second one to be conducted and hosted at the Master’s level.

Unlike many other courses on a similar topic, this one offers a detailed description of fundamentals and the neutral and multivendor presentation of PD measurement techniques.
