Mobitron AB is a Swedish company that develops high-technology products and measurement systems for quality assurance of transport and handling of goods. The company was founded in 1991 by Sven-Olof Olsson and has since then developed its business in Kaxholmen outside Huskvarna in Sweden. Transport damage is an often cited cause of product damages. The repercussions of damages to your product are not only related to immediate cost of repairs, replacements and delays, but also to premature failure during the component’s lifetime, extra service costs, loss of productivity and damage to the company reputation. Therefore, it is important to determine how to eliminate and reduce these costs at an early stage.

Cargolog® Impact Recorder is a wireless data logger with in-built sensors that is affixed directly onto the transformer to record potential incidents that could damage the goods. It monitors the goods throughout the entire logistics chain and provides documented data on the measurement results.

In its early stage, the system was used as a pure measurement system for recording temperature, humidity and shocks/impacts/vibration. Today it has evolved into an advanced registration tool with the possibility to supervise transport with the integrated GPS positioning and GSM/GPRS alarm.

The system is designed to provide information about the events and prevailing climate during transport and handling of materials. It performs independent measurements during a long or short period of time. The measurements can also be adapted to specific requests, allowing the system to be universally usable with a multichannel measurement system and in many areas of application. Ability to trace and track the goods during transport allows you to have full control over the delivery and provide an excellent service to your customers.
