Company overview

The company Dr. Dietrich Mueller was established in 1967 as a manufacturer of motor insulation. The company is located in Alhorn, near Bremen in the north of Germany. In nearly 50 years, the company has changed a lot, progressing from a small local company to a well-known player in the European and the World markets.

We serve more than 15 industries today

Having developed our business over time, we now serve more than 15 industries. Along with the business growth, we have been developing our white spots in other parts of Germany, as well as in the United Kingdom. In addition, we have a worldwide network of distributors covering 50 countries.

We have recently introduced a new company structure with 5 business areas:

• Solutions for dry-type and oil-cooled transformers
• Solutions for motors and generators
• Solutions for electronic products
• Solutions for mechanical engineering and vehicle construction
• Support for research, development and universities

We have increased the number of employees rapidly, so we now employ about 65 people in Germany, three in the UK, plus additional sales people in a number of countries.

In 2014 we bought the recipes and trademark rights for Pertinax, a product that was previously owned by Dielektra.
