Lapp GmbH develops and constructs strip winding machines (system Calotron®), which are internationally sought-after, mainly due to their compactness, performance and reliability, in the electrical engineering, and especially the transformer and throttle construction industries.
In order to meet increased customer requirements in regard to their products and respond to the request for more flexibility, we developed a strip/wire winding machine. Here we also focused on compactness, performance and reliability.
All machines are equipped with our connection technology cold press welding, which has been proven for decades. The advantage of this connection technology is the ability to cold-weld different materials to an electrical connection quickly and easily.
Using trouble-free connection of aluminum and copper, this kind of electrical connection is indispensable for transformer and throttle manufacturing.
The electrical connection can be executed as rigid design (connection rail) or flexible design (braid).
