The CIGRÉ Biennial Session is among the most important global power system events in the world.
The CIGRÉ Biennial Session is among the most important global power system events in the world, bringing together some 9,000 power industry participants from over 120 countries, including 3,500 international experts and other decision-makers. This is a week long interactive happening with over 160 working group meetings, over 30 Study Committee sessions and around 400 papers focus on and discuss the association’s 16 fields of activities.
The CIGRÉ Session 2022 was held in Paris from 28 August to 2 September. This is the first Session of CIGRÉ’s second century of existence, and Transformers Magazine took part very actively there. Members of our Editorial Board participated in many technical meetings (Dr. Mladen Banovic, Editor-in-Chief; Dr. Jean Sanchez, Executive Editor; Carl Wolmarans, Marius Grisaru, Jelena Lukic, and Fabio Scatiggio). Transformers Magazine was among only approximately 290 exhibitors from the entire power industry, from all over the world, who had a booth there and our entire team was very busy, receiving visits from our partners and customers.
