Drekan Groupe is a French company specializing in energy conversion equipment: electric motors, alternators, or transformers. The company, barely 10 years old, intends to make a name for itself in the high-power equipment sector with entities dedicated to maintenance, manufacturing, or rental, the latter offer being particularly interesting in this period of tension in the supply chain and the context of hyper-electrification of our societies.
Drekan Power Rental thus offers its services in the rental of diesel power plants for export, as do more well-known companies such as Aggreko or APR Energy, but clearly differentiates itself from the latter by its real competence in medium and high voltage subjects or the players capable of implementing high voltage substations > 63 kV can be counted, in Europe, on the fingers of one hand, especially since Drekan does not just rent 63 or 115 kV transformers but also offers protective equipment or associated measuring devices: current or voltage transformers, disconnectors, circuit breakers or gantries, so much equipment that makes it possible in just a few days to assemble a turnkey high voltage substation following a disaster, for example. Coupled with a diesel power station, these solutions make it possible to offer temporary reinjection solutions on high-voltage networks and are no longer limited to only 15 or 20 kV networks.
In a buoyant context, project studies are multiplying for Drekan Power Rental with requests relating to transformer stations and distribution networks for Ukraine as well as for diesel power plants in Africa, high-voltage transformers for French industrial plants, or even for distribution transformer stations dedicated to major sports events. There are so many files added to many small projects managed daily by the company for the construction sector.
