Switzerland, Zurich: ABB has won orders worth $23 million from Power Grid Corporation of India to supply 765 kV ultra-high voltage power transformers for substations in the northern Indian states of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
India, Mumbai: Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract worth approximately €16 million ($18 million) by Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (PowerGrid) to supply ten 765 kV 500 MVA 1-ph autotransformers.
India, Gujarat: Alstom has manufactured India’s record 200th unit of the 765kV transformer and reactor at its facility at Vadodara in Gujarat.
