Brazil: ABB has completed the first 500 kV digital substation in the world for a 475 MW solar park owned by Enel Green Power Brasil Participacoes Ltda (EGPB).

Linxon, an ABB and SNC-Lavalin company, will upgrade a 400kV substation for Svenska kraftnät in Storuman in northern Sweden.  The order is worth cca $20M.

Indonesia: Working closely with PT Rekayasa Industri, an Indonesia Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company and their customer, PT Supreme Energy, ABB engineered, manufactured, supplied, installed and commissioned a prefabricated gas-insulated substation, which was delivered on-site fully assembled and factory-tested.

On October 1, 2019 Tobias Hansson assumed the role as the head of ABB in Ludvika.

Bahrain: ABB and GCCIA, the main authority granting efficient power systems in the region, have signed a cooperation agreement in Bahrain.
