Kenya orders 8,000 transformers

India: Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems India (TTDI) has won a $34 million contract from Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC) for the supply of around 8,000 distribution transformers made at the company’s facility in Hyderabad.
