Pakistan, Islamabad: Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali has written a warning letter to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) , Yousaf Awan with regards to abiding the NTDC guidelines in the procurement of transformer tap changers, writes Business Recorder.
Minister of State for Water and Power in Pakistan, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali has directed all power Distribution Companies (Discos), including Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco), not to supply Chinese tap changers. Despite the orders, Iesco endeavours to supply Chinese tap changers by ignoring the above instructions from the Water and Power Ministry.
