L&T wins $126 railway electrification contract

India, Uttar Pradesh: The consortium of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Instalaciones Inabensa, S.A. from Spain has been awarded a design and construction order worth $126 million from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) for electrification works for 417-km section of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor from Mughalsarai to New Bhaupur in Uttar Pradesh.
