BIRD awards $900,000 for power transformer monitoring study
USA, New York: The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and an Israeli software development firm mPrest have been awarded a $900,000 grant to develop a system that can rapidly detect malfunctioning power transformers before they cause larger problems on the electric grid.
