EDF Renewables has won the Israeli government’s tender to build and operate a new 100 MW solar power plant.
The projects will have a cumulative capacity of 3.5 GW.
The plant will be bulit in Surendranagar, Gujarat, fitting with India’s plan to build at least 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy output by 2030.
The project will generate about 6.09 billion kWh of electricity each year.
