UHVAC 1000 kV / 1000 MVA auto transformer successfully passed test
China: On December 16, 2019, the third set of UHVAC 1000 kV / 1000 MVA auto transformer manufactured by Shandong Power Equipment Company Limited (SPECO) for Zhumadian-Nanyang 1000 kV UHVAC Transmission Project (Zhumadian Station) successfully passed the FAT.
SPECO successfully tested transformers for Egypt
Egypt: 3 sets of 167 MVA / 500 kV single phase auto transformers produced by SPECO for New Abu Qir Power from Egypt passed FAT successfully.
SPECO won transformer procurement contract in Greece
Greece: On October 22nd, SPECO successfully won the procurement contract for 7 units of 280 MVA / 400 kV three-phase auto-transformers with Greece’s IPTO (Independent Power Transmission Operator).
Speco wins $135M contract for 34 transformers
China: Shandong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. has won the bidding for the supply of 14 sets of converter transformers and 20 sets of dry-type transformers to the Qingzhou Station of the Jarud-Qingzhou ±800kV UHV DC project.
SPECO and TOSHIBA develop new 1000 kV, 1000 MVA transformer
China: In July, a new 1000 kV/1000 MVA dissembling transportation type auto transformer jointly developed by SPECO and Changzhou TOSHIBA successfully passed the technical evaluation of new products, organized by China Electricity Council, and its technical performance index has reached an international leading level.
