India, Assam Guwahati: Assam state Finance Minster Himanta Biswa Sarma presented the final budget of BJP led Government on March 6.
A total of 28,437 new distribution transformers have been installed. Also more than 80 new substations constructed and 18,000 smart meters installed since financial year 2016 / 2017.
The minister said that in Assam, over 3.26 million households have been affected by this venture, and now people have better living conditions.
Further 17,033 circuit km for 11 KV line and 39,629 circuit km for LT line has been added in last 4 years.
