Two new transformers installed at Gran Paraná substation

Argentina, Entre Ríos: Two power transformers have been installed at the 500/132kV substation Gran Paraná to mark a milestone in the work for the future of power system in the area.

Argentina, Entre Ríos: Two power transformers have been installed at the 500/132kV substation Gran Paraná to mark a milestone in the work for the future of power system in the area.

The installation of the transformers is part of the project that will benefit more than 1 million inhabitants providing them with greater power availability, reports Uno Entre Rios.

The work at the transformer station Gran Paraná is partially funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. The rest of the funding will be acquired through an agreement signed with the Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services.

The work will significantly improve extra high voltage transmission system and provide greater stability as well as meet energy demand which is above the national average.
