France, Savoie: A small fire in a power transformer has mobilised 25 firefighters on Saturday in the metal factory FerroPem in La Léchère.
The intervention lasted until 4 a.m. and the fire was contained within the transformer concerned. There were no injuries or other damage reported. However, during the incident, industrial oil leaked, falling into a holding tank. Once the smoke cleared, it was necessary to remove the oil to ensure fire does not start again, reports France TV.
According to preliminary information, the fire occurred due to a technical fault.
