Larson Electronics released a new step down transformer built to provide convenience and durability to operators in hazardous locations. It is protected by a wheeled aluminium frame.

LARSON TRANSFORMERThe Larson Electronics EPL-TX-320-2XLV-DC explosion proof power distribution system enables operators step down 120/277 VAC 50/60Hz to low voltage 12 or 24 VDC, available via two Class 1 and 2, Division 1 and 2 receptacles designed to accept twist lock plugs like our EPP-15A and EPP-20A explosion proof plugs. This explosion proof transformer system delivers 13.3 amps of 24 VDC power or 26.6 amps of 12 VDC power and comes standard with a 25 foot, 16/3 SOOW cord terminated with a 250V, 20 amp explosion proof male plug. This unit includes two explosion proof receptacles rated at 20 amps each.
