Germany, Baden-Wuerttemberg: Ziehl-Abegg has developed the new MAXvent owlet medium pressure fan used in power transformers.

“The new development from is absolutely excellent with regard to noise minimisation.” says CEO Peter Fenkl.

The fan is 1.4 metres in diameter and is suitable for high volumetric flows. Two adjacent blades work like one big one and in combination with a bionic wing design of every blade, there is a reduction in the noise development. Wings can be individually adapted to the application at the factory since every wing angle is individually selectable.
