Belenergo and Kolektor ETRA to manufacture power transformers in Belarus
Belarus, Minsk: Belenergo and Slovenian Kolektor ETRA are in negotiations to produce power transformers using the power engineering and mechanical engineering factory in Beloozersk, Bereza District, Brest Oblast.
Belarus, Minsk: Belenergo and Slovenian Kolektor ETRA are in negotiations to produce power transformers using the power engineering and mechanical engineering factory in Beloozersk, Bereza District, Brest Oblast.
During the visit to Kolektor ETRA’s power transformer factory in Ljubljana, the Belarusian specialists were made familiar with the European technologies Kolektor uses to make power transformers with the output capacity of up to 500 MVA, reports Belarusian News.
Kolektor ETRA Director for Commerce Peter Novak decided to visit the Beloozersk-based factory to work out action programme for manufacturing modern power transformers in Belarus. Peter Novak said that a similar project to start manufacturing Slovenian transformers is being implemented in Thailand and will be commissioned in 2015.
Kolektor ETRA established contacts with Belarusian electrical companies several years ago. In 2011 the company signed the contract on cooperation in building transformer stations in Minsk on a turn-key basis, with the Slovenian company Rico participating as the general contractor.
