BHEL wins contract from NTPC for Darlipali power project in India

India, New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has been awarded a contract to deliver the electrostatic precipitator (ESP) package for the 2x800MW Darlipali super thermal power project (STPP) in Darlipali, Orissa.

 


India, New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has been awarded a contract to deliver the electrostatic precipitator (ESP) package for the 2x800MW Darlipali super thermal power project (STPP) in Darlipali, Orissa.

The INR 2.2 billion ($35.8 million) contract has been awarded by NTPC and BHEL will design, engineering, manufacture, supply and erect and commission electrostatic precipitators for the 2x800MW Darlipali power project.

BHEL will manufacture the ESP at its Ranipet plant while the high voltage rectifier transformers will be produced by the company’s Jhansi plant.
