BTW is awarded $33 million contract in SGCC 5th Lot
China, Baoding: After notice period, it is confirmed that Stage Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) awarded a $ 33 million contract to Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd (BTW).
The contract was awarded in the 5th centralised bidding and purchasing process this year. Contract includes 20 units of power transformers and reactors, total capacity 5610 MVA(r).
This is the largest order awarded to an individual plant, reports Chinanews. According to officials, the contract detail includes six 500 MVA/750 kV units, one unit of 750 MVA/500 kV and four transformer units of 240 MVA/220 kV transformers.
