T&R India dispatches highest rating green transformer to Columbia
India: T&R (India) Ltd dispatched India’s highest rating 75 MVA, 115 kV, three-phase power transformer for Columbian utility which shall be filled with Envirotemp FR3 natural ester fluid supplied by M/s. Cargill.

India: T&R (India) Ltd dispatched India’s highest rating 75 MVA, 115 kV, three-phase power transformer for Columbian utility which shall be filled with Envirotemp FR3 natural ester fluid supplied by M/s. Cargill.
This the highest rating ever manufactured in India and by making it eco-friendly, this transformer has measured a very low noise level, less than 55 dBA.
This transformer is a three winding transformer and interconnects voltage levels 115 kV and 34.5 kV, 13.2 kV. Transport weight of the transformer is just under 110 tonnes (N2 filled) and it contains 27 tonnes of natural ester fluid. It was successfully tested by the company in October of 2014 in presence of customer representatives. Development of the transformer was done by in house R&D efforts.
