South Korean businessmen are meeting with the representatives of Brazilian industry event focusing on the electricity sector.

Kotra (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is promoting a meeting planned for the 28th November. The delegation is meeting with the executives of KEPCO – Korea Electric Power, to discuss the potential of Brazilian market with regards to electrical materials chain. The meeting is part of Kotra’s strategy to aim at promotion of business between Korean and Brazilian companies within the electric and electronic sector such as suppliers of copper conductors, power capacitors, aluminium conductors, insulators and transformers who aim to penetrate Brazilian market and vice versa.

These companies have a combined annual turnover around US $ 400 million, employ over a thousand people, export to countries like Japan, USA, France, Mexico, Chile, Russia, South Africa and others, and have global clients such as Posco, Hyundai, Samsung, GE, Nissan, in addition to KEPCO.
 
Mrs Ana Lucia Romoaldo of Eletrobras, Professor Daniel Pansarella, logistics and import specialist and Mr Lee Sangwon of KEPCO, responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Korea, will hold seminars at the meeting.
